DENTIST RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS MASTERSHIP FROM ACADEMY OF GENERAL
DENTISTRY
CHICAGO (July 21, 2003) - The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is proud to announce that Marvin Thomas Bush, DMD of Pikeville, KY received the prestigious Mastership award in a Convocation ceremony held during the AGD's Annual Meeting on July 19 in Nashville, TN.
In order to earn this great honor, Dr. Bush completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to "hands-on" skills and techniques. These accomplishments meet the highest criteria for professional excellence. Dr. Bush has joined an esteemed group of more than 1,700 of the most dedicated practitioners in general dentistry who have received Mastership honors to date.
Dr. Bush graduated from University of Kentucky of Dentistry in 1979 and currently practices dentistry in Pikeville. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Bush is a member of the American Dental Association, Crown Council, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bush has two daughters, Joy and Shanea and two grandsons, Gabe and Cole.
